October Fundraisers for DVAM

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and at the Center for Nonviolence, we are excited to announce not one but TWO incredible fundraising opportunities that will help us make a difference in the lives of survivors and raise awareness about our domestic violence services. We are thrilled to partner with Firefly Coffee House and Flat Top Grill, two fantastic local businesses that are committed to supporting our cause. Details below!

🌟Firefly Coffee House's "Round-Up for a Good Cause":

Located in the heart of Fort Wayne, Firefly Coffee House is not only known for its cozy ambiance but also for its commitment to high-quality ingredients. Check out their menu here

Throughout the month of October, this local, CFN staff-favorite coffee shop will be running their "Round-Up for a Good Cause" initiative to support our work to end domestic violence throughout northeast Indiana. Here's how it works:

  • Every customer who visits Firefly Coffee House during October will have the option to round up their bill to the nearest dollar as a donation to our organization.

  • Firefly will tally the total of all the “rounded-up” donations and make a lump-sum donation at the end of the month to our organization

🌟Mark Your Calendar for our Flat Top Grill Fundraiser:

On Thursday, October 19th, we have a special opportunity lined up at Flat Top Grill at Jefferson Pointe, a restaurant that invites you to "Eat Adventurously" with its diverse menu of fresh ingredients and Chef-crafted bowls. Here's what you need to know:

  • Between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 19th, when you dine in at Flat Top Grill show the flyer below mentioning the Center for Nonviolence.

  • 15% of your purchase will be directed straight to our organization to help us provide support and resources to survivors and their families.

Together, we can create a safer and more supportive community for everyone. All month long round up your bill at Firefly Coffee House and dine at Flat Top Grill on October 19th - let's make this Domestic Violence Awareness Month unforgettable for all the right reasons! Thank you. 💜
