Intervention
Our intervention programs help participants look deeply at their use of violence, challenge the cultural beliefs that lead them to use violence, and learn how to practice honesty, accountability, and power-sharing. Participants can enter the program as an agency referral or self-referral.
Victim safety is our first priority. Our team of Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) certified facilitators are supervised by senior staff members and monitored regularly by victim advocates.
Participants learn to recognize and uproot beliefs that support power over others, replacing them with beliefs that support power-sharing and power-within.
Our group sessions are available in person or online, depending on the program. To meet completion requirements, participants must attend all 27 sessions and have all fees paid. Group and fee totals are dependent on each individual's circumstances and are determined prior to entering the program.
